Rosetta Stone and learning languages

So I recently acquired Rosetta Stone and some of the French language packs... I'm absolutely in love with it. I think once I finish French I, II and III I'll try my hand at Russian :P

Has anyone ever taken up the goal of learning a language outside of school? I'm surprised at how well I'm retaining it. It may be me or just the quality of the software.

Either way, I love it.

Just curious, how many of you can speak a language (fairly well) other than English? What languages can you speak, if even only at the conversational level?

Well, French as a first language.
English as a second language.

I've learn Latin at school, it's a dead language, but it was very interesting to see how some ancient latin words ended up today in other languages.

My girlfirend has the rosetta stones program and shes learning Italian. She swears by it. Shes always saying how easy they make it to learn a language.
