On Thursday, 32-year old Saeed Noori did drive his car into pedestrians on Finders Street in the heart of Melbourne, injuring 19 people. Noori, who was arrested at the scene by an off-duty officer, is an Australian citizen of Afghan descent who arrived in Australia in 2004 under a refugee resettlement program.

This has happened for the second time now in Melbourne.

The other incident was in Bourke st. In January this year.

I used to work right near both attacks, its so busy and especially this time of year.

Just last week a roving special police unit was moving around the city undetected.
Unlike the January incident this one happened way to fast to stop.

There are bollards everywhere now in the city, a bit like in Europe in recent times people are on edge.
