1935, Albert Einstein and physicist Nathan Rosen used the theory of general relativity to elaborate on the idea, of proposing the existence of "bridges" through spacetime.....
Those bridges connect two different points in spacetime, theoretically creating a "shortcut" that could reduce Time-Travel and distance, being known today as "Wormholes"...Checkout the Einstein-Rosen Bridge and Quantum Entanglement Wormholes for more info :).

Lots of work has been done concerning this since Einstein-Rosen.
But Einstein himself stated that such a bridge could lead anywhere and that there is no way to tell where it comes out, when it comes out, or even if it comes out in this universe.

The Einstein-Rosen bridge depended on a particular geometry of spacetime near the event horizon, a "flat" area. Since that time, there have been several solutions to the GTR equations concerning rotating black holes that don't show such a "flat" area.

But we DO know wormholes exist. Or, at least, that something like what we call a wormhole exists. Quantum particles use them all the time.

Thanks for the endorsement Hartey, plus the added info...Lets hope our members will garner even more info into this fascinating area of probable Time-Travel (y):D..
