Fast internet is essential now. Sadly, for many... that is not our case. About 39% of Americans in rural areas do not have broadband access. This is a very high number for a first world country, but our infrastructure is crumbling away. All we get are more tax increases. However, our roads are in need of major repairs. There is like a pothole on every corner. Billions of dollars were set aside for rural access. However, here we are.

People living in mountains have to rely on Satellite, which isn't always reliable. Sadly, people that DO have high speed internet are throttled. Ours is slowed down in the evenings when people need it the most.

As for infrastructure, it's really difficult to get any legislation passed with a democratic congress + the rinos.
