Chester's Fried Chicken

It is fine. It is something to look forward to. It is different from other chicken, for one thing it is "moisturized", which can't be bad. You can get all sorts of things at Chester's.

Some people say that cats won't eat it. I don't know about that, it probably depends on the cat really. Some cats like things that other cats don't.

Give Chester's a try!

Mary Brown's Chicken

Lovely fried chicken in a rich doughy batter. You can get mayonnaise on your fries if you want to at many locations. If you like that sort of thing. They call their fries "Nashville Taters".

Swiss Chalet

Venerable venue for fine rotisserie-roasted chicken. Cats love it. Also try very nice side ribs or back ribs. The dipping sauce is excellent. Lemon wedges are also sometimes a possibility. Very good fried chicken is also sometimes available at some locations.

Pronounced "Saint Hubert" in English. If for some reason you want to pronounce it in French, it sounds like "santoobair", with the emphasis on the final syllable. Really very high quality roasted chicken.

Over here in Australia, they are replacing lettuce with cabbage because of the price.

Cabbage and chicken burgers:)

Cabbage is no substitute for lettuce!

There are sane alternatives!

When eating chicken, one might often also want coleslaw. Here is a vague recipe. For coleslaw.

In some kind of bowl, maybe a plastic mixing bowl, add the juice of one lemon. Then finely dice a bit of apple and throw it in the lemon juice. Stir that around a couple times. Then add some coleslaw dressing. Again, stir. Then add some horseradish sauce, not much. Inglehoffer Cream Horseradish or similar. Then add some finely diced sweet onion. Spring onion bulbs are okay. Stir some more. Then add quite a bit of finely diced cabbage. The cabbage should be young and crisp, not old and rubbery. Stir a lot. Don't add carrot. Carrot in coleslaw is for idiots. Stir until all ingredients are thoroughly blended. Serve.
