Saw this a couple of times on Facebook, but didn't think of sharing it here. Didn't require much research to have confirmation that it's in fact, not a perpetual motion machine.

Check it out:

Drop a marble into the top of this tabletop sculpture, and it rolls down a ramp and back into itself endlessly. While it might appear to defy the laws of physics, the trick is that its base contains a hidden battery and electromagnet that accelerates the steel sphere as it comes down the ramp.

You can also pretend to drive a car with a useless goo, by using the stiffness of the feeding tube to physically push it forward.
