I purchased the Flux Capacitor on ebay, as I had some spare PayPal cash lying around. I find the concept it relies on extremely interesting and hopefully this will lead to some experimentation and learning on my part. I'll keep you updated if this goes anywhere. :D

By the way, it's coming from Canada to Australia, so it will take around 2 to 3 weeks to get here.

Got a little more info on it for those interested.

- It's very loud, and according to the seller they bought it from someone who bought it from someone.

- Claimed to have been made about 2 months ago. Everything looks correct, wiring is like the schematic, etc.

More to follow as I get it.

Forget it!!

I don't recommend anyone bid on this item.

The seller seems extremely off balance, paranoid, and I would never trust him.

Untrustworthy!

No way I'm sending him any money.

Perhaps I'll be able to obtain the device elsewhere...

Arrrggggg!!!!!! Sorry for starting this thread. :)

Captain, maybe HDRKid can point you in a more reliable direction. He seems to have a bunch of experience with this kind of stuff :)

Hi Captain Nemo:

So did you buy the unit?

I built a simplified Flux Cap a while back, 2002 to be exact.
This flux cap used a 9V battery for power and a Radio Shack 1200MFD blue cap.

It made a buzzing noise when I turned it on because it sent power to the piezo transducer, but not a lot of luck with time travel.

I used a Flashing Red LED to supply the 2 cycles ter second on/off.

Then when I turned the flux cap off, it would continue to flash for 15 mins
because it was using the energy inside the capacitor, but people I showed it
to where wowed by the fact that the LED continued flashing without the battery.

Still, it would have been great if it had worked well because the Flux Cap is very portable. I can literally put the unit in my pocket and walk to the vortex.

I was hoping that your unit would work better. :)

Unfortunately I did not end up purchasing the unit. The seller kept changing the story about where the unit was from, among other suspicious inconsistancies, plus they would not accept escrow.

If anyone else wants to get one, I believe they have 2 or 3, I can give you an email address.

 No Flux Cap.

Well, I guess I will have to build one.
Most of the parts are not very expensive.

If it doesn't work I can blame my poor building abilities. :d'oh:
