I can not tell you the warmth and honor I have to return to this forum.

I have spent the last few hours catching up on the month I missed. I laughed at the wit and wisdom of CaryP and Paul, read with interest about Hackmer's Duck, had an interesting perspective of knowing that Padadric was debunked while I read his thread.

I must confess the tremendous respect I have with Susan and the way she has handled herself as a moderator. She has shown a needed balance to consider possibilities that I could only hope for in my absence.

I am so honored to be a member of this forum. This place is a rare gem on the internet and the world. I can not believe I had conflict with members here.

I truly feel at home here.

There are some posts I need to make. I was trying to take it all in at first.

I need to repost a post made by Grayson that is somewhat akin to the declaration of independence of this board. It represents the heart and spirit of the board and I am going to put it up in the rule section.

I am very touched to be back to this wonderful place.

Yo Phoenix,

Welcome back dude! Boy, did you miss some fun and excitement. You have a lot of reading to do to catch up. What were you doing while you were away? I suspect you were putting timetravelforum.net stickers up everywhere, the membership has taken off while you were out. Anyway, welcome back and "hail Phoenix."

Cary

There was suppose to be a two week bike ride that changed into several days of finding and riding on a bike path that leads to the beach from where I live and takes six hours to reach the beach and six hours back at the rate I ride.

Phoenix and Welcome Home!

Thank you for your kind words, but I don't deserve all of it. I need to thank CaryP, Snow, Dadof5, Grayson, Pyro, Jedi and Satan for all of their help in my growing process over the past few months. Most especially this month.

Your "family" welcomes you back, and see....the board didn't burn down while you were gone. We were all good!

Thank you all for the very warm welcome.

Seeing this place again has brought tears to my eyes at points, hearty laughter, and some deep thinking. I am so very fortunate to be a part of all of this.

WB Phoenix. You were totally missed. I want to hear a detailed story about your time away, since ours is detailed in the many threads and posts that we've generated since you've been gone. Hope you had fun, can't wait to hear more from you!
The duck was a fun experience!

I read the duck story with great interest.
I noticed that there is also the chat aspect of the board that adds more depth of what happened here.

I understand that Susan tried to virtually rescue the "kidnaped" duck.

I supose I might tell more here and there about what I did while I was away. The bike ride in the main aspect of it.

I was wondering where you had gone off to.. Now I know. Good to see you back on the boards again.

'sides, who else would understand my concerns about the whole Islm thing?? It's not always a popular topic.

Ralan might, Pyro will, but he tends to be a bit gruff and bull headed about it.
There is a broad spectrum of view points here Pauli. You should be ok.

Pauli, i'd be more than obliged to talk it over with you.

Like Phoenix said, I can be gruff about it, but there are two sides to me when talking about it.

I'll make a topic in the Religion topic, feel free to expose your feelings!

Pyro. :D
