In a story that could only happen in the year 2020, there are increasing reports of unsolicited seeds being mailed to people all over the United States.
2020 not crazy enough for you?
Yes, that’s what we said. Seeds. Not illegal plants, either. Just seemingly ordinary seeds in ziploc bags, mostly from addresses in China.
What’s up with that? There are a lot of theories. Some believe it is an elaborate plot to get people to plant seeds in the United States that will choke out other plants and damage the food supply chain. Hard to believe enough people would follow through and plant the seeds to make that a real possibility, but hey, you never know.
The video below has some good information about what this might be all about and the effects it could have if it were to be successful. What do you think? Is this an elaborate conspiracy based in China? Or just a set of unusual coincidences? Well, the United States Department of Agriculture is taking it seriously, formally recommending that these mysterious packages not be opened or used, and they should be reported upon arrival.
