This is a little off course that I am use to writing, I am more geared to the Time Travel portion of this site. But I feel excited to let other people know in the correct forum of what to expect soon in 2016 when it comes to Virtual Reality being used in the home situation. As you are aware or not, there are two major players in the Virtual Reality market. The first is Occulus Rift and the second major player is Sony's Project Morpheous.

This reminds me of BlueRay and its major player years ago and both were creating there own products to meet the demands of the market but BlueRay won! I am pulled to Sony's and it is a personal biased only because I own a playstation 4 just recently. I purchased this because Sony has hired companies to create unique games two of which is why I purchased the Playstation 4. The first is "No Mans Sky" and the second is "ARK". Now mind you all these are Virtual games not the run of the meal type these games I mentioned will put you in the seat of the game it will be all around you. Within 15 minutes or so your mind will not know the difference.

But what I am really looking forward to is the practical applications coming out such as Microsofts "HoloLens" which would allow a person to experience windows 10 without a computer by placing you in the system which would share with the reality outside as well. Such as: A person can create a design, let's say a vase and place the finished product on their coffee table and each time they put on the slimline VR glasses that Vase is right there were you placed it.

Microsoft doesn't say when their product will hit the market but it will cost around $1500.00 and the VR glasses are the size of the Google glasses so they will be light to wear for long periods of time. I am not limiting myself to just Project Morpheous, I am also scouting late next year for the practical VR head gear for everyday life! If you never heard of the two companies and their VR headgear just type into your browser "Project Morpheous" or Occulus Rift.

Meh. Nintendo tried this years ago with the Virtual Boy. It was a dud.

Can't someone else put the VR glasses on and smash your pretty vase, cut their hand and write something obscene in their VR blood on your Walls? Could you then sic the VR MIB on em'? etc... etc.. How nutty is this all really gonna get?

I've heard of this... They had people test it out, even with porn... It's supposed to be really cool, "amazing" some even said...

Just imagine when people find out that the devices are used to build an iris scan database for government & big business. Look at who's invested in Occulus Rift & you'll see it's bad news.

And just in case anybody doubts this point, consider the following:
