What If Earth Turned Out Like Venus

What if in the distant past, at some point, some giant planetary warming took place and turned the Earth into a huge greenhouse planet like Venus?

For instance, imagine the prehistoric cataclysmic event that killed the dinosaurs, but 1 million times bigger. That might have been enough to turn the Earth into a world like Venus, right?

Do you think life would have been able to adapt enough for intelligent, sentient life to exist at some point? Or would it just become a dead planet?

Dead Planet...unless high end society from somewhere does some terraforming...

We have decent high end entities from Andromeda that could help. We do not have advanced beings in Milky Way...except us and another one at 0.7 level in Technology....except our past civilization that are in Milky Way but they are busy doing their stuff and may be about 1.5 level in Technology.

@Krish What scale are you using to measure technological level?
