Will GUN CONTROL be the spark that ignites a US Civil War that John Titor warned us about?

well it seems the states are jumping on the train to grab the guns here's a new bill from missouri to make a whole lot of good folks one of the bad guys with a stroke of the pen

NRA-ILA | Missouri: Anti-Gun Legislation Introduced That Would Turn Law-Abiding Gun Owners into Felons

Yesterday, state Representatives Rory Ellinger (D-86) and Jill Schupp (D-88) introduced House Bill 545, anti-gun legislation that would turn many law-abiding gun owners into felons. HB 545 would ban the possession, sale, transfer or manufacture of certain semi-automatic rifles and magazines that are capable of holding more than ten rounds.
HB 545 contains no grandfather clauses. Therefore, under HB 545, if you are currently in possession of the semi-automatic rifles and magazines outlined in this bill, you will have 90 days from the effective date of this legislation to surrender, destroy or remove these currently lawful items from Missouri. If you fail to do so, you could be charged with a Class C felony if this legislation is passed and enacted into law.
Compelling law-abiding citizens to surrender their firearms and magazines is unconstitutional, wrong and another failed attempt to reduce crime. Criminals—by definition—violate laws, especially gun control laws. They will never surrender their firearms, or comply with any gun control scheme. HB 545 would only affect the lawful, while ignoring the actual problem of violent criminals who misuse firearms.
While no action has been taken on House Bill 545, please stay tuned to www.nraila.org as we monitor this criminalizing piece of legislation

The way things are going in America, it's looking more and more like a Civil War is just around the corner.

It certainly looks that way.
What I believe will cause a Civil War 2 is lack of work and very low wages with few benefits.
Restricting firearms to licensed revolvers and slow loading rifles wouldn't cause a war but a firearms ban would.
Texas would then have a massive influx of gun activists move there and state succession would succeed.
This absolutely would exponentially increases the chances of a breakup.
Now all we need is massive flooding.
My father is from Texas.

Why do we need massive flooding? This was last summer when that super large category 1 hurricane mozzied up the cost and struck Santa Rosa Beach. I ended up standing in 6 inches of water while grilling my steak shortly after this photo. The wind paired with the slow rate of movement of the hurricane created a good bit of storm surge, even though it never hit us and wasn't very strong. Most of downtown Punta Gorda was underwater and the majority of the streets were adequate depth for john boats.CIMG2390.JPG

well things don't seem to be slowing down at all .!!!!!!colorado is jumping in the fray now how ever we must remember what good ole George washington said about guns in his first sate of the union adress heres a quote from it. funny he seems to think we should have a good supply of guns and ammo military style and grade just incase...

George Washington's First State of the Union Address - US Government Info/Resources

Jan.8th 1790
A free people ought not only to be armed, but disciplined; to which end a uniform and well-digested plan is requisite; and their safety and interest require that they should promote such manufactories as tend to render them independent of others for essential, particularly military, supplies

Colorado to Ban ALL Pump & Semi-Automatic Shotguns
Most hunting and self-defense shotguns could be banned by a bill that’s making its way through the Colorado Legislator.
shotguns.jpg
State Senator Greg Brophy is warning Colorado residents that the high capacity magazine clause in House Bill 1224, would instantly make almost all pump and semi-automatic shotguns illegal in the State of Colorado.
The bill, which prohibits the sale, transfer, or possession of an ammunition feeding device that is capable of accepting, or that can be readily converted to accept, more than 10 rounds of ammunition or more than 5 shotgun shells, would make almost every hunting shotgun illegal in the State of Colorado.
Because most modern shotguns have the ability to accept an extender tube, these shotguns would fall under the bills readily convertible clause, and classify them as high capacity magazine devices. After July, 1 2013, Colorado residents will be unable to sell, transfer or even lend one of these firearms to anyone without committing a crime. This means a father would not even be able to let his own son fire his shotgun while out hunting.
The bill has already passed the house, and Colorado Governor Hickenlooper says he’s going to sign it once the Senate passes the bill, which is expected to happen on Monday

I could talk til I was blue in the face over gun control: always use both hands, properly asses and acquire targets before every shot, thoroughly clean your firearms, store ammunition in a clean dry location, correct zeroing of optical sights and laser systems is essential for accuracy, always check windage before making long distance shots, on and on and on...........

Reid: We're Going to Break Gun Filibuster on Thursday - Democrats think they have the votes to start Senate debate on gun laws

(AP) – Harry Reid set the first showdown vote in Congress on President Obama's gun-control drive for Thursday as a small but growing number of Republicans appear willing to buck a conservative effort to prevent debate from even beginning. "We're moving forward on this bill," said Reid. In a hopeful sign for Democrats, at least five Republican senators have indicated a willingness to oppose the conservatives' attempt to block debate with stalling tactics.
"The American people ought to see where everybody stands on this," said Sen. Tom Coburn, a Republican. A Senate vote to begin debating the guns package would mark a temporary victory for Obama and his allies. But some Republicans, though eager to avoid blocking debate on the plan, could well vote against the measure's final passage. Talks were still under way between Democratic Sen. Joe Manchin of West Virginia and Republican Sen. Patrick Toomey of Pennsylvania aimed at finding a compromise on expanding background checks.
