Here is what I did today, watched the rocket launch of the Space X Falcon 9 going to the international space station carrying a crew.
Funny, the space station is 248 miles up. Yeah, we have trouble going. However, back in 1969 we supposedly went to the moon - no issues.
The moon is 238,855 miles away. OK, so that is almost a quarter of a million miles - wow.
