Have you guys heard about "The Stargate of Aramu Muru" in Peru? I just watched a documentary by Jerry Wills. If not, you must see it here:

In the documentary, he explains the experiences he had in 1998 and then in present he takes a team with him and each person tells their own experience. However, I gathered from the video that Jerry knows "3 tones" that have to be recited to activate the Portal. He does not say how he knows this.
So, it appears that nothing will happen if you just go there and stand.

I must say I was fascinated by this place. However, supposedly there is another Portal somewhere in Southeastern Arizona called "The Arch" or something made famous by Ron Quinn. Read up about it when you can.

A niche carved into rock. You'd think that at least one of the tens of thousands of tourists that have sat in that niche for a photograph would have accidentally tumbled through this alleged "stargate."

Very interesting Hermit, never heard of this. If it is a portal of some sort there are some methods that can be utilized to detect anomalous energies surrounding it. I'm taking Harte there with me to look for vortexes
