That's pretty interesting, and not meaning to be negative but this is the first thing I thought of. I'm not sure if trees could survive the temperatures on Mars, at least not the same type of trees that are on earth. Near the poles, Mars temperatures can get down to -195 degrees.
The photo also looks like a painting, but the video calls the "trees" trails of debris. Kind of odd explanation, though. Good post. Makes you think. :)
