I've heard boron supplements can help with some types of joint issues. A triple boron complex is cheap to try on amazon. Boron can also help with calcium absorption.

I would try the following for three months and see if it's still there.
The free stuff
Wim hof breathing and shower every day
Qi gong/tai chi 20mins Every day
Sweat daily for at least 5 minutes
Sun gazing (follow the HRM method, i've never had a problem with it) Barefoot on ground
Dry skin brushing
Distilled water at night, spring/well water daily (place one celtic sea alt crystal on tongue every glass)
Grounding minimum 1hr daily
Intermittent fasting on your eating schedule
No digital lights in the evening OR buy blue light filter glasses
Spend an hour before bed meditating on things you are grateful for

The costlier stuff
Chlorella Evening shot
Spirulina/ginger/black pepper/tumeric powder/apple cider vinegar Morning shot (mix it up if needs be)
Organic fruit and veg only, No seed oils, preservatives, etc
Black seed oil x3 daily teaspoon
Use a grounding mat as many hours as is possible buy it or make it

I've lowered my sugar intake, eaten more green vegetables which seems to help.

Could CBD be of any use? I've heard a couple of times here and there that it can help with arthritis.

Yes, CBD helps and it doesn't cause any side effects (for me).

I think hypocrates was the first to say it, "unless you are willing to stop doing the things that make you sick you will never be better" Or some words to that effect.
Lowering your sugar is good, but it's just one step.
Good luck with the progression.

Personally would highly recommend CBD and turmeric plus a little kratom. Kratom is an incredible painkiller as is Salvia Divinorum though Salvia can be dangerous do to getting you incredibly high and confused.
