Brexit the UK withdrawal from the European Union

A very passionate debate over the last 3 years after a referendum.

Mr Boris Johnson has been given a slap over the head as his vote couldn't be moved upon and was scuppered.

The commons has voted down a deal 3 times, this vote may not be seen as such, though it does give more uncertain times ahead.

The back stop always seemed the problem, and a new deal whether even Nigel Farage sees it as a new EU treaty is up for debate.

Similar happened with the Maastricht treaty in 1992.

So for UK residents in this forum either or how you voted, whether you did or not, please give your opinions.

@TimeFlipper your opinion on selling out the DUP?

In the coming years do you think the scots will try for independence?

Over the time i have watched the commons.

A Dennis Skinner being in there the longest is a quite interesting character, im sure his short quip against the black rod didnt go unnoticed.

All the laughs:)

A great line.

"Most people on the continent think the Brits have mad cow disease... because everyone with half a brain knows the UK is better off IN than out. As for embarrassing the Queen - that was Boris who did that when he told her prorogation of parliament was lawful when it was NOT - but don't let a few facts get in the way of all this nonsense."

BORIS Johnson will today take on Brexit-blockers and launch a make-or-break push to pass his deal and avoid another “Groundhog Week”. The defiant PM believes he can keep his promise to lead Britain out of the EU on October 31, despite being forced by rebel MPs on Saturday to send a letter requesting yet another delay...

The 2019 United Kingdom general election will be held under the provisions of the Early Parliamentary General Election Act 2019 on Thursday 12 December 2019, two and a half years after the previous general election in June 2017. It will be the first UK general election to be held in December since 1923.
