Can someone please explain twitter to me?

I use Twitter as a marketing tool.

I use twitter to share links with my friends, but lately the search engine is messy. For example, I posted that I saw a tornado years ago. Friends, that was not on @HDRKID, but a different account that I do not use any more. Quickly it was on twitter, but that is no longer our case. Twitter is like broken now. It takes hours and some times days for your tweet to appear. OK so by that time it is old news.

I didn't know Twitter was that unreliable for some people. I always thought it was pretty fine.

Instagram seems to allow you to share videos.
