That cannot be a true statement of the CCP....??
If so, they're being insanely Naive. In my opinion. (Which could be wrong)

The reason being that,
if they think for one moment Taiwan will just go with them peacefully,
somebody....Somewhere are being grievously misinformed.

And the US would probably come to their defense.

(Just My 5 Cent)

The Chinese Communist Party will peacefully infiltrate Taiwan in the future. Let the people of Taiwan choose the Kuomintang. The KMT will not let Taiwan become independent, but is pro-communist.
