Food for future

What seeds should we invest in for a future garden in Florida? What kinds of food would everyone like to eat?
Please comment on this, a list is requested for such

I think Oranges are on top of the list.
Strawberries are a HUGE crop here as well.
Coconut palms for central/southern Florida --- they don't like freezes!
Basically, just about anything grows here if watered well and kept free of insects and weeds.

I would highly recommend easy crops that yield easy seeds. i.e. Corn, melons (all types), peppers (yum!), grains, and obviously beans.
