There are plans to farm genetically modified octopus, which is like trying to recreate Jurassic Park but beginning with Indomnius Rex on the first day before putting up fences. They claim to make them doctile in a very short amount of time, which can only mean artificial gene modifications disguised as super efficient breeding. It is only a matter of time until what happened to Belgian Blue cows is repeated, making a giant octopus grow even faster. Only takes some common sense to realize what is going to happen once a whole batch of giant mutant octopuses escape during a flooding disaster, consuming thousands of people as a light snack, torturing and sucking their guts out just for fun.

It would be more realistic if it were genetically modified giant squid .
