The ghost of a hermit who lived on the top of a hill here returns during stormy weather. The man died mysteriously, some say of fright, of what is still a source of speculation, during a violent thunderstorm. he was on his way down the hill to seek shelter in the town. his body was found lying next tto his lantern, which was still burning. Now his ghost, still carrying the lantern,is seen cominng down the path into town wheneverthunderstorms rage through the areaa."HAUNTED HEARTLAND", Beth Scott and Michael Norman.

I believe it is only a legend, alot of these books go by legends and not actual hauntings.

Ok, see what turns up. A lot of legends are based on factual events that just get stretched a bit. lol

This has nothing to do with the topic we were discussing, I was wandering if I could get some help with building my web site. It is for ghost hunting and paranormal research. I am not a web builder lol.
