I think you're wrong, Blast Tyrant. It IS possible to change history, or the past for that matter. That's the ultimate purpose and passion of my career!
Have you ever heard of the Nazi Bell? That thing was believed to be a time machine, and the Nazis planned on changing the past so that the Jews never existed in history (I think). But all of that went to the wayside when the tide was turned against Nazi Germany, and the Nazis lost World War II.
I'm thinking if no individual can change the past, no child can have a heart attack and/or die of one!! LMAO!!!!

How would we KNOW if something changed? We would not. The only way to know would be if some kind of a trail was left behind, or if we were able to speak with that person who changed the past. I prefer the think that time travel is possible. Without hope and imagination, it is SURE not to happen.
