Yes and No. Often, magic is only something we aren't able to understand yet.

Space travel would be a magic trick 2000 years ago, we now know it's not. Perhaps everything we're able to imagine can be achieved in non-magic ways. We just don't know how to achieve them yet. I'm not sure about this, it's just a thought.

Well in Arthurian myth Merlin cast a spell to travel through time and came back with stories of cars and computers saying things like wagons without horses and light boxes that provide information of all kinds. So for all we know we could achieve time travel with the flip of a wand.

I have never heard of the time travels of merlin befor this thats just cool I always thought merlin to be mostly a myth as with the hole story of authur and all

You should look into them the stories of Merlin can be really cool especially now with all of this stuff recently about artifacts from the dark ages that are shedding light on the real king Arthur.
