same just an idea how it can be done, as before I believe parallel universes exist, with the universe expanding faster than it can create matter, the other universes share this massive energy built up, the link would be dark energy, a supernova is likely to happen, but this would prevent it from repeating creating alternatives universe and also explain the lack of matter on the universe, the only particle that would be allowed to travel between these parallel universes is the electron, almost no mass but considered to have some, a single particle can disappear and appear in the same universe, but this give it more of an idea how matter can be transferred and not lost in these universes, exchange them instead of destroying or losing. a machine can be built using electromagnetic force to accomplish the transfere from this universe to one parallel or even a time given.

Personally i would think the best possible method of time-travel would be built around the Einstein-Rosen Bridge concept...Which simply means creating a shortcut from one universe to another, via a wormhole ..
