[Graveyard Hound]

The witchcraft of the Picts, the early Celtic peoples of Scotland. PetaWita differes from the Wicca of England and much of Europen that there is little emphasis on ritual or the worship of the gods. It is closer to the hedge Witchcraft of Europe, with emphasis on healing, herbal lore, folk magic, and divination.

PectiWita is a solitary witchcraft practiced mainly in the Highlands of Scotland. Buckland's book, "SCOTTISH WITCHCRAFT" has much more in it than I can attempt to cover. "SCOTTISH WITCHCRAFT", BUCKLAND, RAYMOND, 1992.

Well, if you want the truth, I came across it reading a book of ""Magic, Witchcraft and Alchemy" that I came across while deciding wwhich books get boxed and others don't. I thought it was pretty odd, so I figured I'd share, not to say the members are "odd", just that most are well read and and if one is going to put something out , with ones own name attached, it had better be interesting,
