How solar-electric propulsion works
Ion propulsion technology is a steadily growing field and the technology is already being used on the Nasa Dawn spacecraft's engines. The spacecraft's solar panels harness electricity from the sun and the gathered electrons are trapped in a magnetic field and then used to ionise xenon atoms.

The catch is heavy duty magnetic field that we can make in the future...someday...I may work that out...

Ion drives were invented in the 1950's and have been in use by NASA on operational missions since the mid 1970's.

I can see the EU (European Union) that at presently is telling everybody in Europe what they can and cant do, will be looking into this project and will be warning us that if we help out with it then we will be charged an X amount for every ounce of Plasma thats produced in space!! .
If you think iam joking, the EU told us about 15 years ago that we were not allowed to sell *straight* bananas from shops, because bananas should be curved!!....That is the utter stupidity from a socialist run *club* ::

I think, going to Moon or Mars is a way to get Aliens to join us...since we really do not have the right technology and we are in a Bad Governance...so, we shall see...how this evolves.

In Indian parlance it s Kali Yuga trying to make it to Satya Yuga...tough luck...
