Some thoughts on Peak Oil
My thougts Deepthought (Hackimer oughta love that)
Peak Oil is real. There's only so much oil on the planet. We've been sucking it dry for decades. China has gone from being "oil" self-sufficient about 3 yrs. ago to being the number 2 importer (behind the US, and ahead of Japan) today. India is also buying oil in increasingly higher amounts. Yes, the oil companies should make a killing off of it, what's new?
The oil companies will peddle their alternative energy devices/sources when demand for fossil fuels drops off drastically because of much higher prices. Be angry all you want, but that's the scenario we're being handed.
Yeeha,
Cary

I didn'y say I believed any of it, I asked if we were being conned? What is your take on it. Either we are running short or we aren't, Either way, the producers will make a killing at our expense.
If we really were running out the oil companies would start marketing the fuel saving devices that they own the patents for. They conned us over that to make more money too...
