With emphasis on the Tree of Life and the Tree of knowledge of good and evil in Genesis and then the return of the Tree of Life in Revelation 22 I wonder if a scientific endeavor would be to botanically engineer the tree of Life. Is the tree of Life and tree of knowledge metaphorical or were they a botanical species?
It would seem that either ancient botany research would discover fossilized plants that can be replicated or it may be up to botanical research to breed plants until they find the right combination. One thought is that the tree of life could extend life perhaps? But is it a real tree?
