Maybe we think this is new. However, Jean-Luc Godard spoke of these themes in his Alphaville movie. Maybe this is a science fiction film noir. This movie was made over 50 years ago. Computers might take over. Basically, this decision is up to us.

It will greatly depend on how we choose to develop those AI. If they're managed and contained properly, there might not be any kind of risk. But it's something that shouldn't be taken lightly.
