I've watched so many tv shows an documentaries on this house. I love history and it's even better if there is a bit of spook to it. I would love to see this house one day and tour through it. I love getting scared but I'm pretty sure I'd feel....discombobulated after a while walking through it.
I still think this is why hauntings from this era are so common. These people really embraced Spiritualism. Leaving a dead loved one for days in their living room. Taking death photos. Its quite interesting. They were not scared to hold a seance to contact the dead. Something that is sometimes shunned now days.

I do have one thought....maybe she should have used all that ridiculous amount of money spent on the elaborate house and put it towards helping the Indians or something. Afterall, that's why she built the house, thinking she was being haunted by those killed by her husband's guns.
