I think I'm going to teach your herd of cats to start randomly hiding your phone. When you get close to finding it, one of the cats will act as a distraction while the other one puts it on the kitchen table in plain view...

Doesn't help. It's really bad. When cats find out they can kill me, they get even more friendly. Vindictive little varmints.
