... it depends what do you see as the "para" normal, but we see it through our (aviation) industry, as one good example "people will never fly" quote, and we all know what happened few weeks later, this ironically being said by the one of the exact people who actually made that first powered flight etc. The other one will be the EVP is now exact science, and all technology and methods are available and you find that hades are not just a shady place where departed go, but the whole new universe, and after the William's case, after he departed, he reported from over there that they now even have the technology over there similar to ours where soon we will be making a phone conversations with them on the regular basis in a near future, and it will be a: business. Example 3 may fit as: Tesla was right - alternate current is indeed better and we will soon (officially) transport people remotely just as we do with our voices currently. Think outside the mind, and now our question for you is: what exactly is "para" and what is "normal" ? The honest answer will be: we don't know. From that question reasons the honesty of this site and forum is outstanding, at least to us, as we also base everything on the objectivity and experiment first, rather that the rumors. .

As for aviation, it was the Montgolfier brothers back in 1783 who created the first hot air balloon that flew many many times....The first untethered manned occupants of their balloon to fly were, Pilatre de Rozier and Francois Laurent, marquis d Arlandes....Balloons were also used in warfare, mostly for aerial reconnaissance in the West, for the following 80 years...I believe they were also used in the American Civil War..

EVP "Electronic Voice Phenomena", are sounds found on electronic recordings that are "interpreted" as Spirit voices, and is not an exact science..

I have heard several "sounds" coming from the so called Spirit Boxes on the internet, which IMHO are rigged by the people making those videos......There are also many people who incur a high amount of "suggestibility", which means that is the mental state of being inclined to accept and act upon the suggestions of others where false information is given, and merely filling in gaps with more false information, when listening to those Spirit Boxes..

Two very useful "tools" that are placed in the spirit boxes are a reverberation effect and a delay effect (Echo), both of which gives an eerie sound to what is being heard and simply adds more to the suggestibility of the person hearing those sounds...."Breakthrough" of radio stations are very common, which also aids the persons suggestibility ..

I think we all have similar ideas concerning what paranormal means.
It doesn't mean someone saying something like "man will never fly," unless there were men flying around in the past and people attributed that to some sort of spiritual or psychic phenomenon.
Also, EVP is certainly not "exact science." It's not science at all. It's people playing around with sound recorders.

You have to go a very long way back to find examples of what I asked for. Meteors could be one. Lightning, rain, the Sun... all have had a paranormal attitude attached to them and all are standard science today.
But, of course, those former beliefs were in vogue centuries (some of them millennia) before science was even invented, so back then, the same argument could have been made for everything in existence. Sort of invalidates the premise of what you stated.

Let's don't mind a bit of personal touch, as in everything, let's not forget what Giordano Brunno was (publicly) burned or hanged for, in the name of science, or progress, or what was it ? It would sound like not really "normal" reaction with the whole "science" world society of that time and authorities not to do anything about it to prevent it, one would suppose per say, so that also sounds ("kinda" like you say) and might be labeled as "para" normal reaction of society at that time, of which science part of society was not the separate part, wasn't it, back than ? ... yep, we can call that (pretty) "para" decision, per say, but, not normal .
The early ballooning and Otto Lilienthal's early works are well known, which is always very nice to see about (no, we are not counting cabal and secret societies flying works being present over the earth from the day one of creation, and before the mankind was seeded and than improved on earth as well, or the interactions with the Watcher technologies and programs, that would be too extreme and another realm of discussion). Again there is a lot more to the EVP state of research today, it will seem, and depends also on - with what exact group of experts do you get to work with, on EVP, and as always you could learn about it on the net already and - we disagree that's not the exact science or - getting there pretty soon, sorry, while on the spirit boxes will can agree that is more of the entertainment item at this stage , but we need to leave you right there for now, our intention is not primarily proving the points here, if that is the agenda over there, so no thanks from us, on that one, it's not why we joined here. But, no problem as well, much appreciated a different or any opinions, so good to hear (and have whatsoever) all the opinions and points of view . "the absence of the proof is not the proof of the absence" . P.S. We will check what the Montgolfier brothers have done, and how exactly, having in mind that official and non official history are both out there, some people like it or not, so thanks for that, as ballooning is not our area, but will be so great to have a look at, their works as well, Think outside the mind .
