Loretto Chapel Staircase

My sister has been in this Chapel and told me about the staircase. On a spiral staircase you have a center post, which the steps are attached to for support. This spiral stairs doesn't have a center post...strange that it hasn't fallen apart.
Some say, "It's a miracle"

I'm a tiny bit skeptical. Wikipedia says there's an entry fee to the chapel, which means it's a tourist attraction, and claims of miracles could be nothing more than advertising to the gullible.

I would pay to see it...I like history, see a spiral stairs that was built without electricity, and one that wasn't built in China.
