the death ray articles above show what looks like a typical cathode ray tube apparatus and dosent look very large and dangerous for the small sizes, from what ive read about the tesla death ray was that a poor owel got threaded by it when it flew across the ray beam

Did you not know he was married to every pigeon, that used to gather around him when he was sat outside on a park bench eating his lunch?

I recall reading about a US amateur radio operator back in the 1960s who was using his UHF transmitter which fed a very high gain antenna..
After several hours of use, he remarked that dead birds were lying on the ground beneath his antenna, that were originally perched on top of the antenna!!..

The US amateur radio operators use the UHF frequencies between 420 to 450Mhz...Therefore its not unusual for birds to be killed in that manner Cobber, and they more than likely were injured when they flew past the radio signal..
