It is a nice thought, and I have a photo of a place I go in my head.
When I was little, I lived about a little over an hour from Yellowstone National Park & Grand Tetons. So I grew up going there almost every weekend during the fall, spring & summer. Many memories I have of my Daddy & me taking hikes and just being still in nature.
When he died, he visited me several times & then he stopped. Heartbroken that he was gone now in spirit, I asked him one night to show me where he was. In my dream, my father took me to a place similar to this picture which is the Tetons in Yellowstone. We floated around with Bluejays next to us and I felt the tips of the trees brush against my knees & the mist coming off a water fall and I dipped my toes in the lake below while I held his hand. He then hugged me & told me this is where he has been, & when it's my time, he will be there, waiting.
The place he showed me was very similar to this picture...where some of my best childhood memories are with him. [emoji4]
