Just follow the schematic on this thread, one thing is missing from this schematic is the 10K resistor that's supposed to be between the two pots. For the coil use the electromagnet from an electric air clipper.

TTU stands for "Time Travel Unit". I forgot what "T.E.C." stands for. Do a search on this site, there's lots of info on it.

I've been able to make digital watches consistently go faster or slower by as much as 7 or 8 seconds so far

I've been experimenting with mine lately, pointing it at myself, and it is definitely having an effect on my perception of time......things seem to be happening much faster, e.g., when I put food in the microwave for one and a half minutes it seems like on seconds go by when it's done!

Yes I did and it consistently made small changes in time. It only works with a piezo transducer, I could never get a buzzer to work.

Maybe the load on the function generator output is to heavy? Try putting a resistor between the output and coil to see if that makes a difference. BTW, I'm finding that the more I use my TTU the easier it's becoming to lucid dream! My mind responds best in the lower frequency regions.
