3D Shadow?

Can or does it exist? Can we expand on that idea? Light I believe basically has no shape or form other than it’s photons. A shadow is the absence of photons?? If there is some concept of transitioning from an environment of light where form doesn’t exist does the opposite hold true where a dark environment does have form? I have heard of dark matter and dark energy are there other dark elements of existence?
 
In my avatar the dark environment of it gives me shape giving me the ability to exist and interact with beings who see it. Whether that being is a human visitor or some mysterious bot with unknown mysterious capabilities.

Maybe in the 4th dimension????
 

I’m sorry. I guess the inspiration for my post was the permanent shadows on the ground in Japan after the atomic bombs. Somehow their shadows were physically imprinted on physical matter. If that is possible can it lead to dark research of our concepts of light and dark elements?
