The assets sold include jewelry, furniture, and other belongings that were put up at auction and sold to the highest bidder.</span></p><p></p><p><span style="color: #ccffcc">Blum, who was a real estate developer, lost his only living relative in 1994, his wife. After she passed away, that was it. He has no kids, brothers, sisters, or even any distant relatives that can lay claim to this fortune, or at least none that have been found yet.</span></p><p></p><p><span style="color: #ccffcc">Before Blum passed away he was becoming mentally feeble. He told his accountant, who reminded him for some time to make a will, that he would do it next time the two met. That never happened as Blum was gone before they saw each other again. Now the fortune is more than likely just going to be dropped into the state's account when the waiting period is up.
