In the late 1990s the Queensland researcher Ronald Pegg discovered a series of clues that ultimately brought a whole new perspective to the origins of ancient myths, legends, and stories.
Where many people perceive ancient accounts as being exclusive, Pegg found many as all being related.
When the 'Book with Seven Seals' topic is studied, two prophets from the Bible are usually cited,being Daniel from the Old Testament and John from the New Testament.
But Pegg looked further afield than just the two cited biblical accounts.
He found that earlier ancient stories were also linked to descriptions from that 'sealed book'.
As he checked more accounts and texts as well as history books, the clues began to fall into place.
Why then did Pegg (who was not religious) start, what may be seen by some to be, a Bible quest ?
He had stumbled upon what appeared to be a copy of the Sealed Book as described in the Bible and decided that further investigation was required to confirm this discovery.
To keep within the ancient context, Pegg called what he was holding in his hand - the Map Scroll.
