Ok, enough of this "physical contact" thing between humans and "ghosts"
. Frankly over 10 yrs. of chasing those things, trust me, if they want to be touch, cetain types will allow a human to touch them,basded on certain variables. Some you can't touch and wil go right through 
them, whille others are quite solid. No idea who decides how each is composed, might be manner of death, location of death, etc, etc., etc. I can't find anything that talks about substance, how it's created , only the after death effect(s) I've been hit by them, had implements like shovels swung at me by them, rocks thrown, even had some cats tossed in my directin. Cats and I came away unharmed but unhinged.
.I don't know there is an answer but I'd be very, very, cutious to believe nybody that has a "pat' answer to a question that might not have n answer to.
