[QUOTE="LITTLE DOCTOR, post: 112041, member: 7165"] The friendship with Carla, another victim of the Leale charm, allowed Leale to move undisturbed in the church of Valle Benedetta to look for clues about the mysterious object. During one of his explorations in the church, Loyal saw the priest, Don Primo, in very ambiguous attitudes with a boy (Don Primo had the bad habit to be attracted by very very young boys). Leale remained hidden and did not say anything to Don Primo. He knew that sooner or later that affair would be back very useful. Leale very intrigued from the well, decided to go to visit it again and with the help of Carla he outfitted to try to understand how deep it was. Leale and Carla had: ropes, lamps, stones, pieces of cloth soaked in diesel. All this had to serve to Leale to understand a little more about that well. First, Leale, once arrived at the well, threw a stone inside, but heard no noise, then, thinking the noise was muffled by the sand at the bottom, he threw into the well so many flat stones stacked on each other, so that the latter could slam on the first and make noise, but again no noise. Then he tried to throw into the well some rags inflamed, but soon were extinguished. There was no possibility to find a way to understand a bit more about the well. Another attempt was to tie a rope to a lamp and making it move inside the well he saw, about 15 meters deep, a tunnel that started from the pit wall. This input very intrigued him ... and he was right ... the last attempt he made to understand how deep the pit was, was to tie a weight to a long rope and lower it down, but again he failed to find the bottom.
