Per ovvi motivi sono costretto stavolta a non approfondire l’argomento rimanendo sul vago per evitare che il profano tenti un’ascesa dove potrebbe riconoscere indizi che condurrebbero ad una certa reliquia ancora nascosta. Il camminamento di marmo consente pure il passaggio umano in caso venisse raggiunto il vertice. Comunque esiste un momento prestabilito in cui il pellegrino o meglio il cavaliere potrà tentare di percorrere la via maestra senza rischio solo seguendo le vie del pavimento. Il giorno e l’ora esatta, assieme alla giusta reliquia da possedere erano annotate in codice dietro i due grandi dipinti del pittore Pandolfo Tibi, meglio conosciuto come Titi. I due quadri che rappresentano l’adorazione dei magi e la glorificazione di San Felice sono stati mutilati. Precisamente è stata asportata la parte inferiore di entrambe i dipinti (vedi foto) zona dove erano riportati i codici. Solo coincidenza o accurato occultamento?</p><p></p><p>È storia recente che oltre mezzo secolo i due dipinti sono stati riportati in chiesa dopo un lungo restauro del quale queste opere non necessitavano. Proprio durante il riposizionamento delle opere all’interno delle antiche e dedicate nicchie, un operaio addetto al trasporto e al montaggio, si rese conto che le opere erano state deturpate in modo da comprometterne il valore. L’operaio, irritato e indignato, presentò le proprie rimostranze alle autorità ecclesiastiche; in tutta risposta ricevette delle minacce di denuncia per diffamazione da parte dell’istituto che prese in custodia i preziosi dipinti se avesse continuato nel suo intento.</p><p></p><p></p><p><strong><span style="color: rgb(247, 218, 100)">(English)</span></strong></p><p></p><p></p><p>Huygens' intent, when he designed and financed the works for the construction of the church of Valle Benedetta, was to be able to create an environment where he could exploit the potential of the mirror of the hermitage which he found during the construction works of the villa. For obvious reasons I am forced this time not to delve into the topic remaining vague to prevent the layman from attempting an ascent where he could recognize clues that would lead to a certain still hidden relic. The marble walkway also allows human passage in case the summit is reached. However, there is a pre-established moment in which the pilgrim or better the knight can try to walk the main road without risk only by following the streets on the pavement. The exact day and time, together with the right relic to possess, were noted in code behind the two large paintings by the painter Pandolfo Tibi, better known as Titi. The two paintings representing the adoration of the magi and the glorification of San Felice have been mutilated. Specifically, the lower part of both paintings was removed (see photo), the area where the codes were shown. Just coincidence or careful concealment?</p><p></p><p>It is recent history that over half a century the two paintings were brought back to the church after a long restoration of which these works did not need. Precisely during the repositioning of the works inside the ancient and dedicated niches, a worker in charge of transport and assembly realized that the works had been defaced in such a way as to compromise their value.
