[QUOTE="Common Sense Conspiracy, post: 156563, member: 15738"] When a gunman opened fire on an early morning Republican ball practice session today, we at Common Sense Conspiracy knew we’d be hearing about it real soon. Fortunately for all involved, it turns out that the gunman may not have actually claimed a life. While Steve Scalise was shot, he is stable, according to reports. Another staffer was also shot, but reports indicate that no one is in critical condition. That’s pretty amazing for a high-powered rifle-wielding man who unloaded apparently 30 rounds or more. So, we knew the conspiracy theories about this one would be all over the place, and so far, we are right. While not much is known about the gunman at this point, there is going to be those that say this is politically motivated. What we do know is that the gunman is not someone of Middle Eastern descent, which is why you aren’t hearing the big T-word being thrown around. Assuming this guy turns out to be a Democrat, there are going to be those that say this is a political hate crime, if you can stomach that explanation. Chances are, that is exactly what it is. This fellow figured out that a lot of Republican Congress members would be gathered here with relatively little security and basically be sitting ducks if someone had the mind. However, while that explanation may be the most likely, that is not where it will stop. Other explanations are inevitable. Some may say that it was an inside job. They will point to the fact that no one was killed as evidence. They will say that this was done by Republicans to try to take the heat off of all the things that are currently going on (i.e. the Russia investigation or Trump’s daily dose of chaos in and around the White House). They also might chalk this up as an NRA-led attempt to show that good guys with guns do win the day. Some reports say that the only reason this wasn’t a massacre is because someone there was armed and almost immediately fired back. The real explanation is going to be hard for anyone to ascertain. If this is some sort of false flag operation from one side or the other, evidence will be scarce, and it’s always convenient when the shooter is killed in the aftermath because there will be no trial, interrogations, or eventual testimony. The powers-that-be can make this whatever they want it to be with the media, and that’s what they will do. That’s why it is good for us to speculate and examine this from other angles. Stay tuned to Common Sense Conspiracy. We will continue to analyze this as new theories develop and more information is available.
