Maybe a good defense against lasers. As lasers become more weaponized we may be able to protect our equipment from laser attacks. It’s early in research but is being explored.

There is also production of laser blocking material. Not sure how effective it would be against stronger lasers. Also this material may only block radiation from the laser not the actual laser beam. I couldn’t tell.
