Hmmm. I don't know. It is hard to account for one's story when not witnessed. I believe it is possible that it could happen. I mean, look at the inspiration for The Exorcist. The boy who was possessed had things of that nature happen to him. Him and his aunt messed around with a ouija board. It took several months and a devoted priest to exorcise what was thought to be "The Devil" away from his soul. The boy is now a man and lives a quiet life. That is why I am very much afraid of old houses and I take into account the structure of them. Old houses have so many memories and residue from years and years of events and emotions. They capture the very soul of others. I believe that is why my mom's house is so haunted. Her house is built with some sort of rock or stones I have never seen before. I think the energy is attracted to it. Demons will challenge our emotions, instill an unimaginable fear into the very core of who we are. It takes an immense amount of faith, love, and strength to fight them off. There was an account of where a priest and his family moved into a home with a demonic entity that tore his family apart. The entity tormented his daughters to the point of fear and loss of faith. Bibles were thrown across the floor, the daughters said something would hold them down in the bed. It did it every night. The father ignored the entity and continue to read his bible out loud. The father died of a heart attack almost a year later. He was young. The girls and their mother moved away. The house caught fire shortly after that. Many demonoligists say, it's important to educate yourself on the terrifying presence of them...but it is equally important to not mess with the unknown. You do not provoke it, you do not let it know that you know it's there. You present yourself as strong in your faith, full of love, full of spiritual strength, and non-fearful of its energy. They try to break down your walls, your barrier, and you just have to remain strong. Once it realizes you cannot be weakened, they will become frustrated and walk away (in most cases). Those that are relentless, require exorcisms.
