Expansion And Gravity Theory

Since space and the universe is expanding wouldn’t that affect gravity? Eventually gravitational forces would weaken or even completely break apart and planetary bodies would start to fly off into space in other directions, eventually this could happen to the planets in our galaxy and solar system. Any thoughts on this idea?

It appears that the measurable expansion is not affected by gravity. Gravity is not fully understood at the galaxy size level. The local rules we use for gravity don't seem to apply at the galactic level.
