For those of you who are already helping out SETI, ignore this.

For those of you who don't know, SETI stands for "Search for Extraterrestrial Intelligence". You can help them crunch their satellite info with your computer, and it sends it back to their servers for analysis.

Next, just download their app and follow the steps on their website. It comes with a great screensaver that shows the data activity as well. They also accept donations.

I used to let my computer work for them several years ago. I gotta say the screensaver looked pretty cool!

For how long have you been doing it?

I'm pretty sure some folks prefer to have their computer mine Bitcoins instead.

I did it for a while on my older computer, but the app used to be different. I just started up again about a week ago. I have it on both my laptop, and my desktop.
