How to get a real image of dinosaurs

oki.lets say dinosuars roam the world at x years ago.all we need is some advance cillivisation who is x lightyears from earth.Then perharps they could use a telescope and look at earth.then they will see earth in x lightyears ago.So they could see dinosuars roaming.Great idea huh?;)

I don't think they have enough popcorn or beer to occupy them while they wait for the show to start due to all the polution surrounding the planet from early methane production. They would have to wait for one of those really big storms that hit every hundred years or so to move the polution to one side.

That could work but they would need one hell of a telescope...
