Yes, you read it well! I'm currently testing the HDR from Steven Gibbs. HDRKID sent my his brand new 2012 device about 3 weeks ago and I've been testing it since then. This is kind of an introduction topic for my HDR experiment, as I won't post any results in this very topic, but I'd rather discuss how many of you guys know about this device and perhaps find out that I'm not the only one giving it a try.

I used it about 7 times up to now and I plan to use it more in the coming weeks to test it like it should be. From what we know, it takes between 15 to 45 attempts in order to make sure you experience the device's effects. After 45 attempts without any result, the HDR isn't likely to work for you.

During my second attempt, I came to feel pretty dizzy during the electromagnet treatment, I came to feel the vibration through my entire body in a very obvious way. I gotta say, I didn't expect such a thing to happen. then a minute after, I got in a slightly deeper meditation state, much deeper than I ever got into, it felt like being right beside the sleep state and the awake state, while being totally aware of what's going on, it was a pretty awesome feeling. The same thing happened during my 4th attempt, which makes me wonder if this is the very beginning of something.

I'm going to post more details of my HDR experiences later on. I decided not to post anything right away in order to get used to the device in the first place. I made a step by step guide with another HDR user to make sure I use the device properly, I'm going to post this guide as well, so that you guys may comment and see if I missed something.

As of now, I can say I'm able to use the device in a proper way, as I'm able to eliminate all doubt / disbelief and believe completely in the device. That's one of the primary things that will likely make the device work for you, or not. Oh, and I didn't forget to put in the crystals! ;)

To be continued.

Hope to hear from you on how it goes for you. I have also been experimenting with the 2012 HDR unit for about 4-5 wks and I agree with the intro comments you made. From my own research, HDR is supposedly a radionics device and works based on the user's mental state and consciousness/cosmic energy reserves. The avg success rate is once out of anywhere from 10 on up tries in the beginning unless you're in luck and get attuned to it quickly.

During my second attempt, I came to feel pretty dizzy during the electromagnet treatment, I came to feel the vibration through my entire body in a very obvious way. I gotta say, I didn't expect such a thing to happen.

I had success on my 3rd or 4th try and it was a fascinating Astral Journey. I had another success soon after, so the results have been pretty mystic at my end. However, I only have to blame my discipline and work schedule that has not allowed me to develop a serious regimen that I'd planned to run sincere experiments after my initial hits. I plan to get in the groove soon.

I believe that most people think of an HDR has an HG Wells style Time Machine that is magically supposed to send you off to another Time-period, Time-line or a Dimension. Hence, the majority of the people quickly start calling it a Plastic Box with an Electromagnet being sold by Gibbs to rip off people. I'd expect that at least on such sites, people would have an open mind and not debunk anything without personal empirical evidence. I did research for about 7 months before I decided to give it a try. Let's keep the discussion going. I also encourage HDRKid to chime in since he's the most experienced user (no prophecies please lol).

Cheers

HH, can you let us know more about how this astral experience happened? Did it take place while you were meditating, or while you were asleep after using the device?

I'm curious about that part, as I'm still unsure how it's supposed to happen in the first place.

Hi Numenorean7,
Both of my experiences were during night after using HDR. Before I give a brief description, allow me to state the thin-line difference between an OBE and Astral Projection. I have done a little bit of reading and this is what it looks like:

Astral Projection is the process of projecting our "Astral self" while we're aware of it all through and with the effect of "knowing" we are actually somewhere doing something. Commonly, it is associated to a venture to an Astral Plane or an Alternate Time-line or an Alternate Dimension. I don't think there is any set-in-stone definition here.

OBE (Out of Body Experience) is what we hear these days in movies and blogs..most reported and documented form of astral projection. It is simply tied to when your consciousness/soul (or what have you) leaves your physical body. Most reported incidents are during an accident, operation table/ER Room, Hospice, during Illness etc. I've read that this may not necessarily mean a travel to an astral plane. OBE simply means what it is = Out of Body..could mean a temp. vamoose to any location (Earthly or non-earthly).
I'm curious about that part, as I'm still unsure how it's supposed to happen in the first place.
I am not sure of all the ways it can happen, but I reckon it really depends on the individual. There are centuries old counts of known Yogis who could willingly leave their bodies and travel to other dimensions or places on earth by using an Intense Meditation practise called Samadhi where your body goes into a state of suspended animation.
My experience was during night as I'm no where close to being an advanced Yogi or novice :D

Sorry for the long msg, but here is the count of Experiment #1. I'll talk about #2 which was not as successful after you go thru this.

Experiment #1:
I set the following variables: Location, Date
Success: Location

Astral Projection and OOBE
After a late dinner and reading a book, I went to bed at around 12:30 at night. After saying my nightly prayers, I put myself into a state of conscious sleep where you are aware that you’re sleeping yet your mind is observing (not participating). I must also mention that just when I was about to drift off to sleep, I noticed a strange sensation in my body as if some invisible force was causing me to levitate (as noticed in different body limbs). Now the most interesting part of the night was to happen around 3 AM. I found myself lying on my bed in my room at our house in India. The room was dark so I assumed it was night-time. What happened next is still hard for me to explain given the surreal nature of the experience. It was almost like watching a movie, BUT where you get to participate instead of simply being an observer.
Even though I was in India, I was consciously aware that I was lying on my bed about 8000 miles away in my apartment in US.
OBE (?)
My astral self/soul (or whatever term you wish to use) gradually started to separate from my physical body (remember this is me in India now). It felt as if an elastic was being stretched and then going back to the starting point. I merged back into my physical body after a couple of small jumps, and afterwards a full disjunction was observed. I had now fully left my physical body and was floating above it while observing it consciously. This is very critical as this is one of the things that separates such an experience from a Dream (which is mostly done sub-consciously, hence most of us don’t remember our dreams or forget them soon after waking up).

After floating above my body for a while, I decided to explore further and moved outside the room. I followed the stairs and floated all the way to the ceiling and lingered there for a while. Since this was the first such experience for me, I repeated this process a few times where I went back to my physical body still lying on the bed in my room and floated right back up to where the stairs ended. At this point, I made an attempt to cross through a physical barrier, which in this case was the ceiling itself (made of concrete). To my surprise, I was able to pass through the ceiling and found myself outside in dark on the terrace (still floating). I felt a sensation as one feels while inserting hand within an object made of rubber/gas (remember Patrick Swayze in Ghost?). While I was out, I noticed the darkness and the quiet of the night when suddenly - a feeling of fear engulfed me for some reason and I decided to drift back inside.

Location Confirmed
Here is where I encountered my mother and for the next bit, things took an unexplained turn. Firstly, she was not surprised to see me floating. Based on what I know, an average physical person can not detect an astral being/soul/spirit with bare eyes. We conversed for a few moments and this is when I consciously remembered (to my surprise and relief) to ask and confirm - What time period I had travelled to.
Going back to the beginning of my experiment, my goal was to astrally travel to my home in India on 30th December 2010.
I asked, "What date is it today"? My mother then looked at the Calendar hanging on the nearby wall and informed me of the current date; 5th August. I could not confirm the year as I could not retain that information. I do, however, remember staring at the calendar to confirm the date myself, but my clouded vision prevented me from doing so.
Soon after that I merged back with my physical body and got up from my bed (back in my apartment in US). The time was around 4AM and I could recollect every tiny detail of what had happened. I was glad that the Experiment number 1 had shown solid results and paved way for future experiments.

This is a pretty neat first experiment HH. What are you doing to put yourself into a state of conscious sleep? I think I understand what conscious sleep is, but I'm unable to figure out a way to get into that very state. I assume that's the next step I'm missing right now.

I haven't been able to experience anything like that up to now.

I won't be able to use the HDR as much as I expected this week, because I caught the flu. I planned to use it everynight.... :( I have a hard time breathing and my throat hurts like crazy, I'm not in a mood that allows me to meditate or fool around with the HDR.

Did you ever use the HDR as a healing machine?

Meditation (both using Mantras and transcendental). In former, I follow my spiritual regimen and in the latter kind (which I just started doing couple wks ago) - I basically sit in the Padmasana (Lotus Posture) and blank out my mind (no mantra) while observing my breath.
Did you ever use the HDR as a healing machine?

No, although many people have used it for this purpose including Buff whose blog we both follow (I think you know who I mean).
Hopefully in the coming holidays in Dec. when I have zero plans, I will be able to devote more time on this and intensify my meditative practises along with HDR use.
Didn't you speak of another experienced HDR user the other day who helped you develop those instructions-for-use?

Keep us updated on how things go, Num! I'm interested to hear the results from you. I've known you online for a few years now and trust you to be honest in what you find.

I'm going to continue my tests this week. I didn't use it for more than a week now, as I've been sick for a pretty long time now. I should be alright in the next few days and I'll hopefully get to test it as much as I want.

Yea man... same here. I am also going to ramp up during holidays as I'll have more time and no plans of travel.
